Wednesday June 3, 2009

Lightening struck the Bexley broadcast equipment Monday night.

The audio interface at the transmitter shack was damaged and needed to be replaced.

Chief Engineer Eugene Beer worked to restore broadcast service for 102.1 FM.

Tuesday programming was cancelled.  Wednesday programming has been restored.

Listeners are invited to contribute to the costs of repairs.  Send checks and cash to Bexley Public Radio, 2700 E. Main St., Suite 208, Columbus, OH  43209.

Regular programming continues with the Eastside News Round Up with John Matuszak and Dianne Garrett.
